40% increase! That's the biggest jump. Sure the government is giving cash rebates to private car owners. But only RM625 per year. People spend that in 2 months plus! This is crazy.
The government told us to be more wise in spending. Be thrifty and try to find additional income. Change your lifestyle and don't make unnecessary purchases.
This is stupid. Telling us what to do and how to live our lives. They are reducing people's buying power. What we need is an increase in our income.

The RM625 rebate isn't going to be given yearly. I think they will only give it for one time only, between 2008~2009 period... whenever somebody renew their vehicle road tax.
