Pendrive terchenta

Today is a bad BAD day...! *On cue, thunder storm can be heard on the b.g.* Two papers due today. So there I was in G2 lab, innocently doing my Info Bank... And then suddenly! *suspense music* The computer that I'm using said that my pendrive cannot be found. I just looked at it with puzzled expression, cursing slightly as I haven't save a few bits that I've just recently typed. And then I went on doing my work as if nothing happened. But it happened a few times again. I was getting pissed by the minute.

And then the most horrible thing happened. The computer stated that my friggin pendrive is not formatted. I was so scared that I stared and stared at the computer. I quickly called Min up asking what I should do. And then I changed computer in the hope that only that bloody computer is faulty. But no, the same thing appeared on the screen. The other computer politely asked "Would you like to format it now?" NO FUCKING WAY you idiot useless brainless computer!! I tried on Azim's new iBook. Didn't work either. It was working fine just last night on his notebook. Why is my pendrive doing this to me?! I was getting hysterical. Just imagine, all my research. All my works. WEEKS of fucking research! All my hard work. All gone in one bloody second. ArGGHhhhHHHH...!!!! FRUSTTTT.....!

So now I have to start everything all over again. I can't curse too much here in fear of Curtin banning this site because of all the profanities. O well. Hmm... no harm in saying another curse. Fuck you la Curtin..

(Sing to the Akon song)

Fucked up. I am so fucked up. My pendrive went nuts. Onnn its ownnn... OOOhhhh!! I am so fucked up.

Movie Screening

It was last Friday. I am proud to say that a lot of people turn up for it despite that there's a big football match at the same time. So thank you to the people who went to our movie screening instead of the football match. =)

The movie screening has 3 sessions. Would you call it sessions? Eh lantak lah. The 1st one was from the Degree students from 2004-2005. That was pretty interesting. It's obvious that they are more experience from the angles that they take and the editing works etc. But still, when they pan it was badly done. Haha. So don't feel bad Pul! ;P In the 2nd session, the short films were made by the Foundation students 2003. I've seen it all before last year like twice! But it was still so funny. And Azim's hair! Oh, Azim's hair. Why? WHY did he change hairstyle?! I want the old Azim back. Sob.

Anyways, here's the best part. The GRAND 3rd session. You know what they say, "Save the best for last". ;) OUR movies. Done by the Foundation media students 2004. I was ever so proud. Hee hee. The 1st movie was Clueless. Ing Hui's film. It was filmed inside my old house back when I live in Senadin with Maya. I kept exclaiming "Oh! My cereal! My milk! Oh look, my laptop!" It was nostalgic. Haha. And then Anky's film, Oblivion. Now that created a lot of laughter. How could it not? How can people not hoot with laughter seeing Azim being touched at the butt (by a girl) and the chest (by a guy)? It was hilarious! The concept of Azim and Farshid being gays. Timeless. Haha. The camera works were brilliant. Ichuy really did a good job. Lighting, music and editing were also good. And then, the 3rd movie was Sarah's. Obsession. Now that got a lot of applause. It would have had a standing ovation if one or two people stood up (as others would surely follow). I was proud of Sarah. She has directed/edited/ntah apa2 gik all this. With two of her original team members MIA the whole time. Akam slept on the first day so that doesn't count. Sleep I tell you! Friggin slept on the time of duty. Can I politely say WTF?! But of course Jasmine and Fidelis did their part of the job. And a lot of other people helped. And let me tell you, it was good that a lot of other people were willing to help. That team encountered a lot of problems. A lot! But it was all worth it in the end. (Btw, did any of you guys see Akam at the movie screening??)

And then, I repeat they save the best for last. The last movie was Dian's. Can't Buy Me Love. We're the only movie out of the four that has more than 2 words for out movie title. Haha. I watched it with a critical eye. There was something wrong with the editing and music. For the life of me, I can't figure out what made it that way. But that aside, it was great. There were laughters and people keep shouting out Nick's name before the movie starts. Seems like they can't wait to see him do some silly stuff. Haha. Nick actually had a football match so he didn't make it for the 1st session. Oh well. Didn't really matter. It was the 3rd session that we've been waiting for. =) The hall erupted with laughter when they saw Nick's 1st appearance (in slo mo. Haha. Rasakan! Let the embarassment begin!) And I can hear Nadia saying "O MY GOD!" out loud from way at the back (when she saw herself also wallking in slo mo). Hee hee. I love the crowd that night. They were so responsive. I love it.

Seems like I babbled a lot of stuff. To my fellow media students, CONGRATULATIONS! We did a great job. I'm so proud of you guys. =)

Jejak Kasih 2005

I met half of my family yesterday. It was only for a while but it made me really, really happy. They arrived at 11.10 a.m. I was so excited when I saw them at the Arrival hall or wtv they call it. I couldn't stop grinning to myself. Lantak la mun org ingat gila.

When they finally, finally went out (at 11.30 a.m.) Azee saw me, rushed toward me and hugged me. And to my horror, I started crying! I mean, wtf? All of them saw me leaking and thank God they understood. All of them just smiled and pass by quickly. I salam my dad after hugging Azee and he half-hug me and I can tell by the way he smile he was saying "Nisa stop crying. It's embarassing" Haha. Typical Daddy. But I can also tell that he's happy to see me too. Everyone who knows me there was. Eee.. so happy! =)

What made me really happy was that Daddy gave me money even when I didn't say I need it (actually I desperately need money). Ok, I'm kidding. Money wasn't the main factor.

*Cough Cough. Say what?!*

What really touched me was that my little brother (gosh I adore him), Taufiq offered to buy me food even though he didn't want to spend it (on himself) and he was broke and everything. He still insist on wanting to buy me something. He said that he won't be seeing me in the next couple of months so why not. I was quiet. He didn't have to say it directly but those words screamed "I miss you, sis". I wanted to hug him then. I knew he won't mind but I didn't. Another thing was my two other brothers (this is the time when you appreciate having lots of siblings. Heh.) called me up and even though they didn't know what to say, they asked me how I was. I knew they miss me. Awww... I feel so loved. Haha. Farhan ya sapa tek? Heh heh.

Even Azee spent her precious RM10 on me. She was pretty stingy and she saved up all her money (rela nya berlapar dan sik makan kat skolah for months) for err... I'm sure for something important... All I have to do was grab her arm, drag her to the airport bookstore and say "Azee, you love me right? Buy this for me? K?" I pointed to the CLEO May 2005 magazine. And she took it and paid. I was surprised it was that easy. Heh.

I was actually very lucky yesterday. For half of my family to go to Miri before going to Limbang is just amazing. What luck! And then for Saiful to be at the campus when I was desperate on wanting to go to the airport. Thanks once again, Pul. Ktk la abg terbaik yg kmk pernah ada. Heh heh. Then for meeting Iqbal and Kimmy when I wanted to go home (I can't call my usual taxi as I have no credit. Anyway taxi is a last resort) I was very lucky. Sheer luck. =)
